THE SURVEY AND OR FUNICULAR

- "HATE THE POLLS. Bring out the worst side of society '-

So once said in an interview, the journalist and ninety-partisan Giorgio Bocca. Of course we do not believe in this claim and we will continue to poll until this blog will remain in place.

After more than five months ended on time to vote we proposed that the poll on the right side of the screen for the type of link you want from San Martino and Passo Rolle. To begin with we thank the 186 voters who wished to participate, hoping that we always follow with undiminished interest. We summarize the question and the result:

1. do not have any connection: 3 - 1%
   
2. It 'just the safety and the guarantee of full opening of the road: 0-0%

3. already proposed ropeway connecting via Colbricon: 151 - 81%
   
4. The funicular railway, as proposed by the Province: 17 - 9%
   
5. A link ropeway, which is similar, broadly speaking, the old route of the 50s: 11 - 5%
   
6. Any solution is fine as long as you do something: 4-2%
   

We immediately notice two things: the massive vote for solution 3 and the absence of votes for solution 2. These polls are not scientific claims and of course, are drawn up so definitely not professional. For example, (but we are considering taking action in a more comprehensive and credible) is missing a fundamental fact: the place of origin of the voters. This blog is read in various locations in Italy, we cite only Rome, Venice, Padua, Bologna, Ferrara and Treviso.
The massive vote for the resolution might come your way Colbricon by non-residents. In fact, they care to move quickly, have a proper "playground" staff, not to lose the value of their properties in San Martino, just interests of economic, environmental, and instead of the simple logic that must (should) animate the residents. So, we persist in believing that the massive vote for the worst of the proposed solutions (which have already been discarded by the policy and also absolutely, ... fortunately, no longer viable) coming from outside. If not was there that would take note of self and lack of critical thinking and analysis of our countrymen.
The total lack of votes for the second solution is quite strange, and yet represent the most direct, perhaps cheaper and would reach a different conclusion: the road to have Rolle's always open. We believe that the road is too important, that it must have absolute priority over any other type of public investment (except for education and health).
Other proposed solutions are practically non-story. To the solution of the old track "type 50's" and many do not believe in the solution of the funicular, mirage solver problems not encountered great enthusiasm.

E 'probable that the result is like this because at the time we had proposed a' further possibility: that priority had to choose whether the link between Rolle and San Martino, or between San Martin and the valley floor. We are in the election campaign, the lists in their programs (if they have programs ....!!) certainly contain this theme.
